Classique stone owns and operates a state-of-the-art production plant comprising the most advanced equipment in stone masonry- cnc bridge saws, cnc machining centres, inline edge polishing machines, surface polishing and honing machine. We also employ 20 highly qualified and skillful masons who have perfected the craft of stone masonry to deliver nothing but the best.
We have an extraordinary capacity, processing in excess of 1000 m2 of stone per week not including our tiling and paving processing. Classique Stone is also proudly going green by investing in a new water recycling and filtration system which recycles 95% of our water usage. All of our tooling work employs wet diamond (not abrasive tools) removing all dust, silica and resins that are generally associated with stone works.
We employ a strict 5-stage quality control system to ensure superior quality in our craft:
Thorough inspection of all stone slabs for fractures and inclusions by eye and touch.
Cutting and processing stone using CAD-CAM so as to avoid any inclusions.
Laminating and mitering using a full-length clamping system, carefully ensuring even pressure whilst laminating to eliminate the risk of any cracking.
All edges are machined back 5mm prior to the polishing process ensuring a fine join and clean edge every time. The edge polishing machine starts at zero grit to 3000 with a final buff giving you a mirror finish.
Close up inspection of the finished product as well as checking templates ensures the job will fit correctly. DUPONT stonetech sealer is then applied to seal the benches preparing them for dispatch.
Your new bench tops are then loaded with one of our 5 experienced installers.
